page. To the right of the main title is the location menu. Throughout
the shop pages there is a Side Menu to navigate between product
categories and to search for specific product content.
How To Order -
Throughout the site and shop the products are clearly shown with
a product code, title description, measurement, price, stock availability
and 'Add To
Basket' button. Add items to the basket by clicking
the 'Add To
Basket' button next to the product required. If
'Sorry, Out Of Stock'
is displayed the item is not currently available. Please contact
us to enquire when the item may become available and it may be
possible to place a back order. The number of items, goods total,
discount awarded, sub total and order total are calculated automatically.

At any time click the 'Expand' button on the basket to view more
details and to highlight gift items. See Expanded
Basket on how to use the Expanded Basket controls.
From the compressed or expanded basket you can complete your order
by clicking the 'Go To Checkout' button. The checkout is used
to enter your details, select a payment method and confirm your
order. See Checkout
on how to complete the Checkout.
Shopping Basket - The shopping basket is located
to the top right of the screen. This is the compressed basket
so brief descriptions of the items can be viewed throughout the
site. New visitors will see the Empty Basket showing zero items
and a zero goods total. The basket includes the following information:
quantity, a brief product description, product code, cost, number
of items, goods total, promotion code, discount awarded, postage
and packing and order total. There are also six buttons, 'Open
/ Close', 'Hide', 'Empty Basket', 'Expand', 'Order' and 'Go To
Checkout'. In an empty basket all of the information and buttons
are disabled until an item is added.
To add a jewellery item to the basket click an 'Add
To Basket' button on the product pages next to
the product you would like to add. To add a jewellery supplies
item to the basket select the quantity required using a drop down
menu on the product pages next to the product you would like to
add and click the 'Add
To Basket' button. The quantity of an item can
be increased by clicking the 'Add
To Basket' button again. The quantity may be restricted,
please see Quantities
for more information. It is possible to add different quantity
denominations of the same jewellery supplies product, e.g. 1,
10, 100, 1000. A total is then displayed under the product.
When an item is added to the basket the controls and buttons are
enabled. Use the negative and positive buttons either side of
the items quantity value to decrease or increase the quantity.
To remove the item from the basket use the negative button when
the quantity is set at one (1) to set the quantity to zero (0),
removing the item.
If you have a promotion code it can be entered in the promotion
box. Enter the code exactly as it appears on the voucher as it
is case sensitive and click 'Calculate'. To remove the promotion
code delete the code from the promotion box and click 'Calculate'.
Click the 'Empty Basket' button to empty all items from the basket.
An option to continue or cancel will be presented.
Click the 'Expand' button to expand the basket in order to view
more details and to highlight gift items.
Click the 'Order' button to print a hand written order form for
posting.
Click the 'Go To Checkout' button to complete an online instant
or postal order.
Click the 'Hide' button to hide the entire basket. The basket
will change to a 'Show Basket' button. Click this to show the
basket.
If more than three different items are added to the basket the
'Open / Close' button is enabled. When open all the items in the
basket are viewed and the basket may cover the page. When closed
only the last three items in the basket are shown and the basket
does not cover the page.
Expanded Basket - The expanded basket shows a
detailed description of the items and is used to highlight gift
items. The expanded basket includes the following information:
quantity, detailed product description, single cost, reminder
image button, gift button, product code and cost; number of items,
goods total, promotion code, discount awarded, postage and packing
and order total. To the top right of the basket is the 'Empty
Basket' button. An option to continue or cancel will be presented
when emptying the basket. To the bottom left of the basket is
the 'Compress Basket' button. Compressing the basket will navigate
back to the last page viewed. To the bottom right of the expanded
basket is the 'Order Form' and 'Go To Checkout' buttons. Use these
to print a postal order form or complete the online order.
From the left is the quantity of each item with negative and positive
buttons to decrease or increase the quantity. Same as the compressed
basket to remove the item from the basket use the negative button
when the quantity is set at one (1) to set the quantity to zero
(0), removing the item.
The detailed description of the products includes the cost of
a single item.
For each item there is an 'Image' button that navigates to the
image page.
The 'Gift?' button is used to highlight an item as a gift. When
clicked the item will be highlighted pink and the button will
change to 'Gift'. The 'Gift' button will remove
the highlight so the item is not a gift.
The product code and cost of the product is displayed to the far
right.
Checkout - The checkout shows a list of your
order for you to check, a delivery option drop down menu, an area
to redeem gift vouchers, payment options and a form for filling
in your details. To the bottom left of the checkout order list
is the 'Back' button. If you would like to add or remove items
from your order use this button to go back. The checkout order
list cannot be changed. To the bottom left of the form is the
'Submit Order' or 'Create Order Form' button, determined by the
payment option selected, to submit your order. An order cannot
be submitted unless all the relevant information has been given.
After clicking the 'Submit Order' button you will be directed
to the payment method of your choice.
The drop down menu is set by default for standard delivery in
the UK. Use the drop down menu to select either standard delivery
or 1st class delivery. When a country other than the UK is selected
in the address details, the drop down menu will be disabled and
the outside UK delivery charge will be added to the order.
Use the radio button options to select your preferred payment
method.
Information required is your name, your address, gift recipient
or delivery name and address and your email address. Optional
information is a gift message, comments, marketing information
and the choice to join our mailing list. Your email address is
required to send you a confirmation of your order.
Select your title using the drop down menu options, filling in
the box next to it if you select 'Other'. Enter your first name,
last name and your address in the relevant boxes. Tick the check
box to copy the address across, if you would like gift items sent
to your address. If the gift recipient or delivery address is
different fill in the relevant boxes. Enter your email address
in the email box.
Click the 'Submit Order' or 'Create Order Form' button when complete.
Postal Order Form - The checkout shows a list
of your order for you to check, a delivery option drop down menu,
an area to redeem gift vouchers and a form for filling in your
details
The drop down menu is set by default for standard delivery in
the UK. Use the drop down menu to select either UK standard delivery,
UK 1st class delivery or outside UK delivery.
Quantities -
The quantity for each item is restricted to the number of items
in stock as shown and refers to the total number of gift and non
gift items. This is to ensure an item is available before an order
is processed. This information may be incorrect due to recent
sales. Please see Availability
on the Terms & Conditions page.
BASKET FULL - The basket may become full if a large number of
items are added. A cookie is used to track the items in the basket.
A cookie can only hold a certain amount of information therefore
the basket can only hold a certain amount of information. Items
can be removed from the basket and replaced with different ones
if necessary. If the basket is full and more products are required
please submit a second separate order.
Larger Images
- The products can all be viewed by a larger image. Click an image
or the 'Larger' button under the image.
